Sikament®-2004 NS Imparts high workability and allows a large decrease in water content
USES
Sikament®-2004 NS a superplasticizer for free flowing concrete in floor, slabs, foundations, slender components with dense reinforcement, walls, columns, pavements and other structural and non structural elements. Specially recommended for the following types of concrete: ▪ High performance concrete ▪ Ready mix concrete ▪ Pre cast concrete ▪ Pre stressed concrete ▪ Site batched concrete

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Chemical Base Modified Napthalene Formaldehyde Sulphonate Packaging 275 kg/ Bulk supply Appearance / Colour Dark Brown Liquid Shelf Life 12 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging. Storage Conditions Store in dry conditions at temperatures between +10°C and +40°C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost. Density ~1.18 kg/l at 25°C
APPLICATION INFORMATION
Recommended Dosage 0.5% to 2.0% by weight of cement .Higher dosage may be used if agreed by engineer and consultant Actual dosage to be finalised on the basis of site trials. Stir well before use. Compatibility Sikament®-2004 NS may be combined with many other Sika® products. Important: Always conduct trials before combining products in specific mixes and combinations. Compatible with all types of cement and cementitious material
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS DISPENSING
Sikament®-2004 NS can be added into the mixing water or directly into the concrete mixer after 50 – 70% of the mixing water has been added. The addition of Sikament®-2004 NS to dry aggregate or cement is not recommended. To achieve optimum performance a minimum wet mixing time, which is depending on the mixing conditions and the mixer performance, of 60 seconds is recommended.
LIMITATIONS
Excessive water addition or overdosing may cause bleeding or segregation. Overdosing may cause extension of initial and final setting times. If frozen and / or if precipitation has occurred, Sikament®-2004 NS may be used after thawing slowly at room temperature and after intensive mixing.
