Sika® Plastocrete® Plus

WATERPROOFING CONCRETE/MORTAR ADMIXTURE DESCRIPTION A

concrete / mortar admixture in liquid form that acts both as a plasticizer and waterproofing compound. USES

APPROVALS / STANDARDS IS 2645, IS 9103 PRODUCT INFORMATION Chemical Base Modified Ligno Sulphonate Packaging 20 kg, 100 kg, 200 kg, 230 kg Appearance / Colour Dark Brown Liquid Shelf Life 12 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged unopened, original sealed packaging. Storage Conditions Store in dry conditions at temperatures between +10°C and +40°C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost. Density ~1.08 at 25°C pH-Value ≥ 6

APPLICATION INFORMATION Recommended Dosage 0.05 – 0.2% by weight of cement. Actual dosage to be finalised on the basis of site trials.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS DISPENSING

Sika® Plastocrete® Plus liquid should be dispensed directly into the mixing water, prior to its addition to the aggregates. LIMITATIONS If over dosed it may retard the setting time of concrete. But no other detrimental effect will take place. If frozen and/ or if precipitation has occurred, Sika® Plastocrete® Plus may be used after thawing slowly at room temperature and after intensive mixing.
